Excellent. Excellent. EXCELLENT.

My god, what a beautiful piece of art this is. You create absolutely stunning and beautiful shadow and lightning effects, your technique is absolutely wonderufl, especially with the mold and algae, which you give a very watery, faded colour that blends into the rock in a subtle way, while still breathing colour and life into the rest of the piece. Your vision is excellent, although I think you probably shouldn't have used so much water, and instead given a bit more space to the rocks, which are very much the central part of your piece that gives the rest of it its power.

As far as originality goes, I am going to mention that I am very harsh on originality. It's hard to be original anymore, but you're doing quite a fine job at it! When most people think of doing a nature piece they don't decide to show off the beauty of stone and fungus, instead they try to center their pieces around trees and wild life. But not you! Excellent work!

As far as Impact goes, I think my tone throughout this critique speaks for itself as far as impact goes. This piece will likely leave a lasting impression in my thoughts. Thank you very much for creating such an interesting, lively piece. I truly love the lighting.

Also, it's a hugely versatile piece, while writing this critique right now, it had only a small center sliver of the image showing (the words spanning the left side are "W.anorthogonalu" and just that single composition would be an absolutely stunning and beautiful banner or bookmark! Your composition holds its own in pieces and still manages to impact. I would take that as a major success. Keep working, you're definitely getting watched by me!

A few critical suggestions for your next piece: try to compose the piece a bit more equally, your image is beautiful, but it's very top heavy, a lot of the detail is above the water, and the water is a little empty. Personally, I would have suggested maybe a glistening, algae covered stalagmite just barely coming out of the water, or a few dark shadows of fish, I hope my critique has helped you as much as I've enjoyed your piece, thank you for a wonderful submission!
